No more domain name, so please point your links to http://www.aldroid.com/morsecode. Morse Code Heartbeat is officially no more. SIBERIA is in full effect though. We should have some new recordings up in the next couple of weeks, some local shows in August, 7" out in September on Grey Sky, and hopefully a west coast tour shortly afterwards.

I stopped being lazy and finally put the songs from the Alligator CD up so you can download them.

We've been lying low recently, because, well, we broke up. BUT, we started a new band with the same lineup. Just different songs. Seems stupid? We never claimed to be geniuses. Except Alan, he used to make that claim. Anyway, we have a new band called Siberian Tundra. We're pretty excited about it. New website will be up soon, hopefully a 7" will be materializing on Grey Sky Records shortly. Meanwhile, come to these shows:

Sat Mar 13 (date changed): Siberian Tundra, Love Songs (CA), Me and My Ego (Boise) @ 7058 NE 7th Ave, Portland. 7pm, all ages, $3. Two out of town bands, all who rock.

Thurs Mar 18: Life at These Speeds, El Buzzard, Shamelady, Siberian Tundra @ Club Awesome, SE 9th and Pine. (old Pine St/La Luna) $5, all ages, 8pm

More coming....

Busy writing new songs and making oatmeal. Also, new $300 van? Finally posted some mp3s, they are available here: http://www.hxcmp3.com/morse_code_heartbeat.

We're playing a couple of house shows in the next 2 weeks. One is a Books to Prisoners beneft with Mustapha Mond, the other is with Occam's Razor from Fresno. We'd like to see you at one or both of them, OK?

Well, ol' $300 van is officially no more. It served us well over the past year, I think we used it about six times. So yeah, Morse Code Heartbeat is vehicle free. I have a bike, does that count? I need to get a really, really big trailer so we can get our equipment to shows from now on.

Speaking of shows, come to our show in Vancouver tonight.

I live in a fairly crappy neighborhood, but generally everyone around here looks out for each other. However, I was not surprised yesterday morning when I noticed someone had been rifling through my car in the middle of the night. Through a quick inventory search I figured out they took: a multimeter, an electric tire pump, possibly my Velvet Underground tape, and the last 10 or so Morse Code Heartbeat t-shirts. I thought that was pretty funny, and made a joke about how all the crackheads in the neighborhood are going to be wearing MCH shirts from now on.

Then, late last night I'm at Safeway, or unSafeway, as it has come to be known, and there's this crackhead getting hassled by the cops. Of course, she's wearing a brand-new Morse Code Heartbeat shirt. Gotta love it.

So anyway, those were the last of the shirts, the screen is gone so there probably won't be any more. If anyone has an extra multimeter they'd like to donate, I'd be more than happy to take it.

RC is back in town and the rock has re-begun. Yesterday I received a garbled message about how he was hitchhiking to Boise, and he's probably giving some trucker a handjob right this instant.

Hey, a new look for the website. We were getting sick of the bloody foot, I mean, it is bloody and all, and blood is pretty hip these days, but we had a board meeting and it was determined that the bloody foot had run its course as our official website mascot.

Some new photos have been added too, More coming whenever the heck we feel like putting them up.

RC is still out on the road with No Arms No Legs, we've been busy writing new songs, planning our world domination through games of Risk 2210 AD and Civilization 3, and brutally murdering small puppies.

We are playing October 17th in Vancouver WA and November 6th in Portland. Come say hi. Don't forget the CD is out now, check the MERCH section for CDs, 7"s and even some t-shirts.
